From Wrexham to Nuy

Wrexham - St Giles
We’ve got the chance to have newcomers at Nuy, from Wrexham in north-east Wales: Sue, Mark and John Lucke.

Wrexham enjoys a very privileged location. Within twenty minutes travel you can lose yourself in the Welsh hills, be fascinated by the Roman remains in Chester or view the rich historical past within Wrexham County Borough. Wrexham Association Football Club founded in 1872, is one of the oldest surviving football clubs in the UK and the oldest professional club in Wales.

I remember my first meeting with them… I said to Mark I’m happy at the time Wales beat England in rugby and Susan answered me… “But I’m english!”

Susan or the british humour, a great style and a natural elegance… Mark, a Brad Pitt face who’s in everything and actually a plaster warrior with all the construction work at Nuy!
John Lucke, supporter of Arsenal who perfectly speak french in a few years.

When will we get a four nations tournament at Nuy?!… France, England, Wales and Scotland too with Nigel!

Nigel the Warrior!

Other newcomer at Nuy, Nigel, an ex Scottish weightlifting champion… with impressive muscular calves! The Clan Nigel family comes from is MacQuarrie, one of the oldest clans from the isle of Ulva ((the origin of the name MacQuarrie is Gaelic "son of Guaire," which meant the proud or noble one.  The MacQuarrie clan is one of the stem-clans of the ancient MacAlpin line of kings). Among the first anecdotes with Nigel: an hole digging for a water problem at Nuy, with the night falling and the fact that Nigel was so impressed by the mediocre quality of my french spade and a curiosity with him… drink Jack Daniels with Coca Light! I think in the future, Nigel and I’ll organize the first Celting Games of the Wine Brotherhood of Nuy but…..
Who will dare to face Nigel, the Scottish Warrior?
